Hi Henning,

I also enjoyed reading 'Riddle of the Sands' - it sounds like a great spot to do a bit of sailing. It certainly sounds more interesting than my coast line in Perth, Western Australia which could have been drawn with a ruler and is a uniform stretch of breakers over white sand.

As a positive though, we don't really have much tide to worry about, and our sailing season is about 12 months long (in winter we might have to wear a jacket - but shorts are still ok)

How can you tell who is the Aussie bridegroom? He is the one in long pants. From what I remember of my trip to Australia long pants are a sure sign of a being a foreigner!!!
