I find it amazing what you can accomplish when you limit yourself to one hour chunks of time. Today it was the cockpit coamings. Sadly the Mahogany was pretty badly rotted, but I was able to get them off in enough of a piece to make some patterns to replace them. tomorrow I do more sanding
Definitely beware the horrors that lie behind your decorative wood. I found three different types of sealant where previous owners have tried to bandaid the leaks from cockpit to cabin. At least I can be sure she won't leak when I am done
