The boat is scheduled to return to the lake tomorrow!!!! I checked my records and I launched in on April 15 last year but because of rain I really didn't get to sail for another two weeks. This year looks a bit more promising so far (although this is the mountains so we could have what the locals call "Blackberry Winter" and snow again between now and mid May.
on Chatfield Reservoir on the south-west 'corner' of greater Denver. winds were about 15 with gusts 18-20. wonderful sailing.
up at 9000' Lake Dillon is still under many feet of snow and ice ... likely not get on that lake until June (unless May runs warm and it quits snowing).

Looks like you could use some water. The ice is mostly out in Central Wis on the rivers. The lakes up North still have ice. Next week is the start of fishing season on those lakes. I don't think most will be fish able. It was warm enough yesterday to work on my boat but not today. I am eager to get it in to the water. I have some painting and epoxy work but it is way to cold for that.
