No sailing for another couple of months!

Post by Michel »

As you will see, sailing is out of the question for the time being. ;)

I noticed that just before Christmas it was completely dark by the time I got home around 1730. Now, I have some daylight for another 15 minutes or so.

However, last Tuesday the overnight temps were Zero, Zed, 0 so while the days may be getting longer your polar bear film is still quite true.

And that zero is Fahrenheit, not Celsius

There is some kind of a false spring going on at the moment! Temps. are over the freezing degree. :)

One of our friends, Rob Dunbar (who was published in SCA) had a nice sail in the Halifax harbour! Not bad for January! 8-)

good news and bad news. We here in the Mid-Atlantic saw temps hit 50 degrees F. The bad news is we had severe thunderstorms and a Tornado Watch.

The snow is frustrating me as is the ice flowing in and out of Georgian Bay. Today the water was moving but this evening it's started to snow…..again.

Mental! Come on Mother Nature -- bring the thaw!
