Small motor integral tank solution

Post by Michel »

Nobody enjoy having to fill up the integral gas tank, specially in certain conditions. Here is what I done regarding this problem.

Got a male fitting and made it go trough the gas cap.

Used the rubber seal that was inside the cap to protect the air hole that makes the gravity tank works.

The inside of the cap.

I had also to change the external gas tank hose fitting for one that fits on the cap. Got both for about 20$ ;)

Now, I will only have to use the squeeze bulb to refill the integral tank whenever it is necessary. Most motors will give advance signs before dying out so it is not a big deal! ;)

You also need to have a spare gas cap for when the motor is not in use. Or, find a way to deal with the small pin hole vent. :)
