So the poles have to be like 20 feet high? I would guess they could be 10 feet on the shore and when the water dropps 20+ feet, they are just sitting on the ground.
Do you have any before and after pictures of the same area?
There are no poles connected to the docks Some marinas even take up docks as the water levels fall. The further you are from the dam the drier the lake becomes in the winter. Try these link. This is my photo page from the Sunbird Forum. It has a little of everything

Yes, I do go through all my safety & first aid stuff every 6months or so to make sure nothing is out of date, waterlogged, or squished.. Interesting about a "ditch bag" as we get the little boat together I wonder how much they(the boats) can share or if I'll end up with duplicates to keep it simple(sort of). Guess I'll cross that bridge when I get to it.
There are dozens of summer islands. I have just the island in mind for Fry Tortillas with your permission. The idea of an Island Spoof naming thread is a good one.
I have one more to go.
Wheres the Island is the same land mass as Its all There.
I will also add another photo of the ramp when the lake is at its highest
