A while back on one of the Montgomery message boards there was a discussion about "why do you sail?" I started a reply but it was much too long winded and frankly ...rambling...(imagine that!). LOL So....here's the reason:
!!!!BUT FIRST!!: OK...so....the music. Get ready....cause some of you aint gonna like it. LOL.... and that's OK. It's my slide show! LOL I am not offended at all if the music is not of your taste but for me....I thought the song was perfect (for me) and lent itself well to a fairly fast paced slide show. Keep in mind where the volume decrease button is....and also the "back" button so when you bore of this dribble you can exit rapidly and get back to some REAL web surfing. (Please don't unload on me in an email about how I totally ruined sailing for you with my music choice.....(like before). hahaha!!!!!!
This is a collection of photos (many of which we've been given by great friends)....that I keep in a screensaver file. I add to it whenever I get a photo that "takes me there". If you wish, you're welcome to join me in the journey.
AND let me add...A BIG thanks to SCA which has been there inspiring me all along the way! Keep it up guys!
Ok, OK, here it is, the temps are in the mid 80's, the winds about 8 kts, no clouds and I am stuck behind a $#%^& computer writing reports for my clients. So, to break the monotony I see if anything is cooking at SCA and what do I find?????
This wonderful collection of why we all sail (when we can!) photos. I am now even more depressed than before!
RE: "I am now even more depressed than before!" -------
I think maybe I missed the mark! LOL
solution----- quite the job???? hahaha (no don't do that!...convince the boss to sail....yeah...that's the ticket. Imagine how good all the masses that work for Small Craft Advisor have it?? Heck, I bet Josh and Craig are taking them all sailing every dang day!!!! Awesome!!!! I don't know how the heck that they get any work done! )
No, actually you hit the mark quite well. I am depressed because I can't get away. Unfortunately, the business is jointly owned by me and my wife and she won't sail for a variety of reasons (not the least of which relates to the time I dumped her in the lake!!!)
I don't know who is worse, you or Michel. Both of you guys post wonderful representations of why we sail.
Didn't you know? Josh and Craig live on a 30 foot boat and are always sailing!!!!
