well, I didn't go. The breeze was 5 to 10 kts as forcasted. It was the 20 kt gusts that had me second guessing taking a small 300lb boat with 110 sf of sail out. I am not a big fan of swimming at the best of times, especially not in shallow water where the bottom is all mud.
I got her all rigged, then had to wait for a couple of powerboats to get retrieved, then decided that discretion was the better part of valour and down rigged her and went home. I consider it practice.
