Hi there,
I love sailing but hadn't gone for it yet. My friend asked me to give company for his sail to the Heart Island, https://www.blountsmallshipadventures.c ... rt-island/. As I am interested in adventures I am going with him. But I don't have any idea about Heart Island other than what I got from google. So as a woman, how should be prepared for a journey? What measures or precautions do I need to take for a safe journey? Any advice for it,please.

I would think the requirements for safety would be the same for male or female. You need a good life jacket (and wear it!!!!! It doesn't do much good in the cabin) Take sunscreen and use that as well. Drink lots of water. Wear a good hat and if you are going during the cold weather layer up. Other than that I think good old common sense comes to play.
