I also would like to see more pictures of the forum members boats in action. But I understand it is some kind of luck to have someone with a camera at the right place and time! :)

I know what you mean, I have exactly two photos of me on the water and one of me standing on the boat at the dock. Now, if we could just convince people we looked like Brad Pitt or Nathan Fillion then maybe we would have more photos of us!!!

I met Giligan once at a playhouse in Jacksonville Florida. He was also a sailor but when I said I had a daysailer it was like "oh, a little boat". I said if you had had my boat you could have gotten off the island years earlier and gone on to some better roles.

I was not his fan after that!!!

He was funny and the Skipper too who was a great guy in real life but i was watching this show more for Ginger and Mary-Ann ! ;)

Actually, I thought Denver was funny in Gillian's Island and before that as Maynard G. Krebs in Dobie Gillis. However, I got a bit miffed at him for his attitude that a daysailer wasn't a real sailboat.
