SCA - 100th issue!

Post by Charlie P. (NY) »

Congratulations to the editors and staff of SCA on the milestone of issue #100.

Like a lot of folks I sorely missed the void left Small Boat Journal and had been a subscriber through the last five or six years of that magazine. Good Old Boat satisfied the times for my wife and I moving up through new and classic sail cruisers (up to 34 feet) but then we started downsizing. Happily, the world has Small Craft Advisor in just the right place at just the right time.

You've surpassed Small Boat Journal in production and are equal in content. We live in an increasing electronic media age but curling up on the deck swing (or beside the woodstove) with the latest issue of your magazine takes me to the wind and water like no "device" short of a small boat can.

Thank you.

Here's to another 100!

Congratulations! I don't know how many of those 100 issues I have but the pile is impressive! It is alway a pleasure to find a new one in the mail and I sincerely hope to get the 200th one. 8-) :)
