No, it is not needed where I sail. What is left of the bottom paint has been slowly fading away since I owned the boat in 2005! :)

Michel!
I think this might be the year for a bottom prep detail smoothing and a coat of one of those one of those very go fast racing paints.

Since you must be far enough up the Seaway to count on fresh water it might last awhile. Some Saturday a wet 200 grit sand-out, spray application, those larger vessels you love to tease will wonder why they never can keep up with the the "petite Mari-Bel..!"

I hope you are not as close to those power lines as it seems!!!!

It has been a cooler than normal spring hasn't it? Its been so cool around here I thought I was going to need a long sleeve shirt!

Glad to see you back on the water.

Dont worry about those power lines! They are much to high to cause some concern. :)
It is true that is has been a strange spring. We eben had some snow flakes just about two weeks ago! But it looks very good now. :)

I will think about doing something about that bottom... But not this year because when the boat is in the water, she stays there! ;)

I could not resist taking some images of my first sail of the season.

Michel, your videos are always such a joy. It just looks so peaceful. If you have no objection I am going to forward this video to one of my clients I am taking out this Sunday. It will be the first time she has ever been on a sailboat and I wanted to give her a taste of what to look forward to.
