It's one helluva well-written coasting story, based on a boat much like your own beloved "Mari-Bell", well suited to explorations "where the deep keels dare not venture"!

don't get me wrong. I still enjoy competition. I am hoping to do the Everglades challenge in 2017.. I will probably use CLC's Expedition Wherry for it.. but at age 46, I know I will not be aiming for a podium finish, but instead just a finish

I'm 71. I would just be aiming for a start!!!

I'm 71. I would just be aiming for a start!!!
You are still very capable at 71, I'm sure of it! But.... At 91, you would maybe have to be careful about stepping in the right boat at the dock!... :P :mrgreen: ;)
