J 70 review

Post by Peter E »

You know I am bad. When I was a youngster we use to like those old cougars that would yell at you. We would get them cranked up until they were red in the face. It was much fun. First new car $1000 First boat $10

Now I am kind to kids. Don't tell the wife how much I got in the sail boat ( although she suspects)

Every thing is relative. Years ago worked in a ship yard. Launched a yacht for another yard. Had a hot tub on the fan tail cost $25,000,000 was a wedding present for his daughter. After the sea trials he said I like it, build me one.

I know I have as much fun and enjoyment in my little sail boat as he has in his twenty five million yacht, that what being a old cougar teaches you.

There is one question I have. I wonder if his daughters marriage lasted ?

Well, you know what they say about marriage
A man is incomplete until he is married.
After he is married he is finished.

I am the captain of my ship!

And THE ADMIRAL has given me permission to say so. ;-)

ALWAYS discuss a substantial (over $150) purchase first with your wife. Then go ahead and buy whatever it was anyhow.

That way you're a hero if she had agreed or even grudgingly accepts, and if she didn't agree you are no worse off than if you hadn't discussed it to begin with.

It's a winning bet.

35 years married as of last month. 35 years of sailing together as well.

Is that in the same category as its better to ask for forgiveness than to ask for permission?

By the way Charlie, that is one huge wheel. I don't think the Destroyer I was on had a wheel that big
