Hi, I am new to this forum.
I recently aquired a 12' dinghy project that I hope you all can help identify. I will post photos as soon as I can but for now: She has spent the last decade or so in the woods on an island in Maine. she is 12' long with a 4' beam. Fiberglass hull with gunnels and thwarts of oak with copper fasteners yet has an aluminium centerboard. The mast would be set forward like the catspaw dinghy. She looks like a small whitehall (wineglass transom and vertical stem) except not lapstrake. The only identifying mark is a decorative 'pinstripe' groove in the hull starting with an arrowhead or harpoon head at the bow and ending with a one sided feather or handle near the stern. hoping this marking would be a manufacturer trademark. Any help identifying her would be greatly appreciated.
