I just got my issue and was sad to learn that a man who is and should be a very big inspiration to all small boat sailors and cruisers was forced by age to quit sailing for good.
Charles Stock is an inspiration to me. He wrote a book : "Sailing just for fun" . A book about his many years of sailing and cruising in the Thames estuary in his 16 feet gaff cutter called "Shoal Waters" . A boat he designed from the hull up.
I think the man deserve to be better known in the small boat sailing community. I wish him well.
