I've always admired Nordicas and Danicas, even though my personal sailboat preference has taken me in a different direction (multi-hulls). Still, I was very interested to read the article.
The author makes mention of a Danica built for a planned voyage to Hawaii. I'll add grist to the rumor mill by saying that I briefly met a guy at a marina at Silva Bay on Gabriola Island who claimed to have sailed his Danica to Hawaii. I didn't pay as much attention to him and his story as I should have, and for that I'm sorry.
Maybe someone else out there knows more about this than I do. If so, it would be great to hear about it.
