Re: Sandpiper 565 review
More and more guys will get back to sailing as the season is round the corner. There is more action here during summer.

Yeah, I like your videos. They are a blessing for those days when getting in the water is not possible. I do have one question. When I sail my boat, for the most part, just pokes along, which I like. However, in most of the videos one sees the boats are moving at what appears to be a very good clip. Is that an optical illusion or am I just the slowest sailor on the planet?

Re: Sandpiper 565 review
Thanks!
I like to poke around too! I also like to film about that aspect of sailing, like shown in this video:

I think that a lot of sailors wont even go out if the wind is not strong enough to do some "on the edge" sailing!
Maybe that explains all these "extreme" sailing videos?

Michel...
Watching "Voile matinale sur semaine"
Do you use a Mac to make the videos?
Since you play guitar, why not uses some of your own music..

No, I don't use a Mac. I work my clips with Window Movie Maker and sometimes use some effects that are provided at Youtube. The 1980 style effect on the video.

I also plan about creating my own music for my videos and I already have done some experimenting like in this one:

Thank you very much for posting this. This is exactly how I enjoy sailing the most (although I wish I had a guitar player to accompany me as well??)
Seriously, I sail because its relaxing, not because I need an adrenaline rush.
Take care.

Re: Sandpiper 565 review
few people go into sailing because the are in a hurry.
Even the fastest (non-hydroplaning) sailboat is slower than driving through a school zone.... for the most part

Re: Sandpiper 565 review
I really enjoy relax sailing. Sometimes, when the wind is weak, I barely can make way against the current but it is not a problem!...
