Pcket Yacht Palooza in Port Townsend July 20-21
Posted: Wed Jun 26, 2013 6:52 am
Only three-plus weeks to go until the biggest gathering of little boats in the Northwest, our second annual Port Townsend Pocket Yacht Palooza, to be held July 20-21 at the Northwest Maritime Center.
If you can bring a small boat (rowing, paddling, sailing or traditional power), please let us know by sending an email to Marty at norseboater22@gmail.com Registration is absolutely FREE, and you'll have a great time mingling with other small-craft owners, comparing designs and trying out different boats when we hit the water for a day of boating on Sunday the 21st. By July 20-21, we expect that summer (remember that season?) will finally have arrived.
Full Palooza details are on the Pocket Yachters website:

Remember, the Palooza's focus is on INTERESTING DESIGN, with some slight emphasis on pocket-cruising capabilities of the boat. It is not a wood-only event, and nobody will get an award for the greatest number of varnish coats...so bring your daily drivers, partially-completed restorations or not-quite-finished new projects, along with your turnkey beauties.
We've got some terrific boats signed up, coming from all over the West Coast--don't miss it!
