One of our readers, Bill Shultz, called asking if there were any kind of boat building groups or clubs in the Los Angeles area. I'm certain there must be, but I didn't have any specific suggestions for him.
He's trying to build a Core Sound 17 (I think) and he'd love to be meeting with small-boat sailors or builders regularly to discuss and share ideas, etc. If you're interested in meeting with him or know of a So-Cal organization, please contact him at this address:
