It came to me that I am now in my 10th sailing season with my trusty small boat; Mari-Bell, a Sandpiper 565. Looks like we have grown accustomed to each others!...

Will we make it to the 20th season together?... I sincerely hope so.

You are back!!!!!! Its so good to see you and your video's again. They are always such a joy.
I almost abandoned the Lusty Slogger (Sunbird 16) for a Compac 16. A slightly more spacious vessel with a keel and an actual cabin. However, while thinking about it I had The Lusty Slogger tied to a dock at the marina. Two men walked by and said, Oh, what a good looking boat. After that how could I possibly trade her for any other boat???? Boats have feelings and I sure she would have been devastated if she found out I exchanged her for a younger model!
So, here's to keeping that which we have found many days of pure joy eh?

Its early here now so the beer will have to wait for a few hours but I will stop on my way home from the office for a six pack of Moose Head.
