Love my gal...and love sailing with her. Celebrated 25 years yesterday with a triple reefed sail.... repeat after me... "Vertical is Bad" .....LOL

The Lusty Slogger has been moved from the basement dry dock to the backyard but I still have two more weeks before I launch. This was one the one hand great and on the other

hang in there...summer is coming and then it'll be your turn while we "enjoy" the blast furnace!!! I'll be looking to you guys to comfort me till sailing season starts again!

Well, we were almost there! Temps have been in the 60's but breezy. However, next week temps going back down to the 40's with that hated four letter word snow in the forecast.

The Lusty Slogger called me outside this morning and said "Look "Skippy" enough of this cold weather. If it doesn't change soon I am going to just hook up with the next trailer hitch heading for Florida. Then what are you doing to do huh?"

that was my plan for the winter... spending it in the keys on my sprite.. sadly the refit stretched on too long for me to get the boat in the water last year.. so I did not want to chance an unknown boat in unknown waters for three months
