In the bays of the Swan River between Fremantle and Perth, Western Australia. I live 5 minutes from one of the easiest to use public launching ramps on the river. The most common wind directions allow me to reach out and back to a sandy little beach next to the ramp.

Hi esterinoz,

I also sail in the bays of the Swan (on my Hartley TS16). I mainly launch from Crawley because that is the easiest ramp for me to get to. I might get brave enough to head out to the ocean, but will need to get an outboard so I can get out through the marina at Hillarys or Ocean Reef.

Its nice to know there is another SCA fan in my neck of the woods.

Home Port: Mission Bay Yacht Club. We enjoy sailing our Catalina-22 MK-II wing keel at Mission Bay, San Diego Bay, and off the Southern California coast.

See you at the Havasu Pocket Cruiser Convention!

We keep a sea pearl 28 at Dillon Res, 9000 feet up in Colorado and spring-fall when it is too cold up there, trailer little sister, a sea pearl 21 to Aurora res. I'll keep my eye out for a little potter there!
