I know exactly what you mean. The Lusty Slogger was put into the water on Friday April 12, 2013. The instant the hull hit the lake the sun shone brighter, the wind was fairer and I learned how to sing!!
Sorry about the delay! We were very close to see the rain turning into snow the last few days! The Saint-Lawrence is not very inviting in times like these.
It is supposed to get a little warmer for tomorrow. I will probably go for a sail in the afternoon.

It has been cold and rainy all week long! The weather is clearing at the moment and it should be nicer for a few days but I am leaving tomorrow for a two weeks trip in France!
Serious sailng will begin when I will be back!

Split time at the tiller and when we were heading back in -- I realized we had not dropped the rudder. It was a good day, but there were a few little things as well.
A funny thing was on the way back a couple women were tailgating me and I joked about driving all the way to Tupper Lake so they would have to keep following me... As we were covering the boat up and unhitching, I realized I had never plugged the lights in.
