On my way home from a job site, I found, in a field, among 2 horses, a goat, an underteminable amount of chickens, dogs, cats, and bunnies, a Santana 21, on a trailer with a for sale sign that said make offer. $300.00 later, (what I had in my pocket), I had the boat. It is in decent shape, being older than my youngest son, who is pushing 40.
Problem 1. The sail, seems to be in good shape, but looks like it was waded up like a piece of paper, and shoved into the bag. When laid out, it looks like it was waded up like a piece of paper. Any ideas on how to smooth out the sail :?:
Problem 2. The keel. Whoever designed the boat was a terrible mechanical engineer. I have the factory booklet that says to do anything to the keel, the bottom of the boat must be ripped out. Any ideas on how to fix this :?:
