looking for twin keels
Is there a place where I could find a list of companies that made or make twin keels??

devoted to twin keel enthusiasts. I owned an Alactrity 18 going on 19
as my first boat. Despite some nasty habits, she provided lots of enjoyment for me and my daughter on SF bay, Napa river and CA lakes.
Westerly made a number of twin keelers and most of those designs came out of England by reason of the tides and lack of marinas in the skinny backwaters. "Keep turning left" in SCA.

The Twin Keeler news letter is a great resource for twin keelers. Jen's Kuhn has taken over the news letter I believe. Jen's has a web site for the Alacrity twin keeler with lots of good info. I have quite a bit of info on the Alacrity 18/19 and Vivacity 20 from Russell Marine as well as a fair amount of info on the Westerly boats. As for a data base of builders I am unaware of one but perhaps Jen's will know.
We loved our Vivacity and I have not found any quirks with the Vivacity or the Alacrity as far as sailing goes. These are the only two twins keelers I have ever sailed. I will shoot you a PM regarding our Vivacity 20.
