While not totally about small boats, they do talk about rowing the seabright skiffs that lifeguards all use.

I love rowing! I learned it when I was 6 years old! You can row all day long when you know how to pace yourself. These guys are athletes who are expert at the sprint kind of rowing. I am not in that shape anymore! ;)
