Nothing wrong with my boats.. but plenty wrong with my Elderly Parents. I had hoped they would last as long as their parents, but it seems not to be. With both being in their mid-70s, they have multiple things wrong with them. As my Mother's primary caretaker, I am almost afraid to go to work. Thankfully my Father has my sister, but nobody over in that house has a car, so any appointments fall on me to take them.
I can still get a bit of kayaking in.. but sailing takes too much time to set up, sail, and downrig for me to be able to do it without worry.
well, I do not think I will be sailing any this year

well, all is slightly looking up. My father has open heart surgery on the 16th to replace a valve (he has a heart defect that keeps them from doing the quick and easy catheter way. And my Mother sees her surgeon next week to see about the aneurism. So while I will not get any sailing in while they are recovering, I will be able to do less worrying.
