One thing I will say, having rented plastic kayaks in the past, I love how silent Skin on Frame is. You might hear the occasional creak or a wave breaking against the bow, but there is no slap or any signal that water is hitting the hull. When paddling the most I hear is the creak of my hands on the paddle
