What I love about dinghies.

Post by Michel »

I can sail in about no wind at all!.... I can also reef down to a handkerchief if needed with that roller boom reefing system.

I am going upwind and up current at about a quarter knot in almost no wind at the beginning of the video! Not a ripple on the water!
Still I was happy when it picked up a little later! ;)

Congratulation Michel on your first sail of the season. I still have a bit of work to do on my Piper before I splash. Should be soon. By the way, I always tye my jacket. I know I won't have time to do it if I fall in the water. You never know when that's going to happen. Be safe.

Thanks Jacques. That is a good advice BTW! I am often a little lazy about that! ;)

yea, that is a bit chilly. You need a light wetsuit for weather like that.
