I think Kayaks qualify as Small Craft?
I finished my Dave Gentry Chuckanut 12s this week. I still need to add deck bungees, but those are easily done.
I started last fall, put her aside for winter, and finally finished now that spring has sprung. Hopefully I can get her in the water next week.

Re: Kayak
Pardon the double meaning but that is really a work of art! Is that a Shaw and Tenney paddle?

Re: Kayak
Beautiful. My kayak is soulless plastic, but my boss built one of strip wood with a Pink Floyd inlay motif that is as much a work of art as yours.
I admit that I spend more time kayaking than sailing anymore. Opens up the local rivers much more practically.

Re: Kayak
That was the idea. South Jersey is full of small rivers, streams, and swamps that can be paddled, but not sailed. Even some of our more open water is very thin, so a Kayak or canoe is necessary to go do some exploring.

One can never have too many boats of all types.
