This is a relatively new website that allows you to see the surface temps if most lakes in the US. They use satellite imagery to extrapolate the temps of the water. If you do not see you lake represented, send them a note, they will probably add it. Sorry, US only right now.

Well, I looked for it by typing Lakemonster in my search engine and there it was! I am on Lake Harris but that wasn't listed. However, all of the lakes around it as part of the Chain of Lakes had water temps in the low to mid 70's and I would assume Harris has the same. It also tells you the wind speed and direction and weather report for the day. Good stuff, thanks Mr. Haberland
