centerboard glassing

The whole boat construction revolves around the centerboard and centerboard can being completed first.
The flat inside surfaces of the case are no real problem but the centerboard ...I am unsure. So here goes:
1- Two sheets of glass. But: are they simultaneously epoxied or is it one sheet , epoxied and sanded and then the 2d sheet is put on , epoxied and sanded , and epoxied with graphite as the final coat?

2- More complicated , to me at least is: how to put the glass on. I get it it is clamped horizontally but if is the glass is draped around the centerboard on on both sides at the same time is it epoxied in the same "episode" or is it one side at a time and thus epoxied in two seances ?

3- If it is indeed one side at a time then why not lay the centerboard flat on the workbench?
4-Not the least problem is how to manage the glassing in the lower rounded and also flat part of the centerboard to make a nice even with the rest job?
5- finally is the head and sides of it also glassed or only epoxied?

What boat are you making? Some centerboards have a plywood center and some do not. Some are aluminum sheet with no glass at all. Really, the centerboard is not the crux of a boat design. It's placement is more critical than the material. Some feel the keelson should not be violated by such as a centerboard and offset it to one side.

I've owned some excellent sailboats that had fixed keels and no centerboards at all. And one with leeboards that made no excuses. ;-)
