I have mentioned sailing and rowing on Lake Lenape before. I found a much smaller lake nearby that while part of a Wildlife Management Area, looks perfect for a day in a small dinghy or Kayak. At only 30 acres, it is a 10th the side of Lake Lenape, but 100% more remote and hard to find. You could drive right by and never know it was only right off of the road thanks to the high overgrown berm that keeps it in place.
Like most lakes in NJ, it is man made, but so very pretty.
I look forwards to exploring it come spring when the weather breaks

Looks perfect for Spark, exploring all the nooks and crannies. Is there access from the road.

Re: "found" a new lake
there is. The Dirt berm dumps out on to the road at a dirt road that goes off into the WMA, with the "beach" being right there.

Hope to hear all about it when done. Pictures are always nice.
