... I'd like to post some photos of my Siren but can't find a way to do it. Can I upload straight from my Mac?
I can post pics on other sites but I can't see how to do it here. If you have suggestions(simple) let me know.
Bob.

You speak of the old Havasu get together. Does it no longer take place? If not officially, do people still show up? I believe it used to be in February...

Well I tried to put up some Siren photos and made it as far as getting an image to upload but got "Error, file too large". Any ideas? Make it as simple as possible, I am not a master of this electronic wonder. I am using a Mac laptop.
Thanks

Bob

Bob.

You need to decrease the image size. The forum software limits image size to save space. I bet the images are very large as the modern camera/phone creates very detailed (large) images.

Look up on a Mac support page how to use the image editor to decrease the pictures to something smaller than 400K (K - kilobytes which is a designation of file size)

There is an informal gathering and yes usually in February. All discussion is on Facebook in a group called 'Sailing Lake Havasu'. Link -

Thanks, I'll get at that soon and see what I can do, I wish I knew more about this stuff!

We started a very active Siren 17 Owners Facebook Group a few years ago. I'm one of the afministrators of this modest 343 enthousiast owners group. Don't hesitate to visit our site and/or ask questions about our beloved craft.

We bought our little 1973 Siren 17 five years ago as a retirement project. We have now 202 outings in five years, an avevarage of 43 outings in a five months season, here, in northern Canada (lake Saint-Jean area, Québec).
