Sculling & Sailing!

You can see a little bit of sculling at the beginning of this video! It was not bad at all and the boat was moving well enough. It will only get better with some practice!
It is light work compared to rowing!

Michel. You might want to wrap a piece of leather on your sculling oar to lessen the wear and tear. That's what they used in the old days.

That's a good idea Jacques! But first I have to find the best pivot point on my oar! Only practice will tell on how much of the oar should be out of the boat for the best results and less effort. It also have effects on where I stand in the boat.
