Spark is out of storage and home for me to finish up a few details and touch up her paint.

decided to finally paint the inside of the hull white, leaving the stringers, ribs, and hog varnished. For 56 year old varnish, it held up very well, but was past it's prime.

How it looked before I started:

With one section primered. Far as I got last night before the gnats tried to pick me up and carry me away as a three course meal.

This is all primer. I still need to do under thestern deck and towards the bow, but I cannot do either until the primer hardens up. With Tropical Storm Arthur approaching, it might be a few days till I do it.

everything abaft the thwart is now painted in Rustoleum's "Oyster white". I kind of painted myself into a corner, so I need to let it sit a day or two to harden up properly before I can finish up. Then I can re-install the floor boards and put into the foam flotation panels I am building.

Coming along nicely, I think, I may be biased though.

Hello Art,

There is a guy in England who did an episode where he worked on his GP14. The Youtube channel name is KnotFINNishedYet. He was helping Leo rebuild Tally Ho, when he went back to England, he started his own youtube channel about the boat he is rehabbing.

Just thought you might find it interesting.
Cheers.
