My After Crisis Agenda

I am like the tree like creature in "Gardians of the Universe" who only says "I am Groot". Well, my vocabulary has come down to "I am bored". So, one activity I have decided on is the naming of the various islands to be found in Lake Harris.

As you know, navigational aids are called "charts" in waters that are either offshore or run into bodies of water that are offshore. Inland lakes are navigated with the use of "maps". In pouring over my map of Lake Harris I have noticed only one offshore structure is named, the island approximately 1/4 mile from the marina is named "Monkey Island". Apparently some time in the past someone had the idea that monkeys could be kept on the island and they would not escape to the mainland. That lasted all of a month and now the island is uninhabited except by insects and some seabirds. It isn't a big island, maybe 100 yards by half that in width.

So, anyway, I am looking forward to getting back on the water and exploring the lake (its about 6 to 8 miles long from the marina to the Tavares Bridge which separates Lake Harris from Little Lake Harris. However the bridge is not tall enough for most sailboats to pass under.) There are a plethora of small unnamed islands in the waters. I shall make it my mission to sail to, explore and name each island over the course of the next several years.

I did this on Cherokee Lake in Tennessee where I named Trina's Dad, Barbie's Toes, The Isle of Mo Rocca and others. I intend to affix similar names to the islands to be found in Lake Harris.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. One I received and never used was "The Dry Tostitos". One island will certainly receive this name!
