I've been busy sailing all this year, a combo of day sails, regattas and even a 5-day cruise of Northern Puget Sound ... just hadn't put the boat in her slip on Lake Dillon, Colorado. FINALLY it is done!

rigged and ready to splash -

I WANTED TO GO SAILING but have boats to build so had to return to the shop and, gasp, work. A Sage 15 SageCat going onto her trailer for owner pickup next week -

Very nice.

* sigh *. How different our early sailing career might have been with a sailboat like that instead of our ComPac 16. Although bulletproof it went to windward so poorly that I'm pretty sure at one time we appeared on the chart of Skaneateles Lake.

I thought it was me until we got a Thistle 17 and I realized the difference between a sailboat and a boat with a sail.
