Regatta in Mobile Bay hit by storm

As of this morning, two dead, possibly tree still missing.

Condolences to the family and friends of the lost.

Steve, I put this over on Sail Oklahoma and Duckworks this morning but I didn't link it into here. Without going back, I can't do that. Do you have the link?

This is rather sobering thought for all of us who often engage in small boat events in water that seems safe and sheltered, not "dangerous" as we define it. Of course, all water and all boats are dangerous but we seem to take them casually. I know I often do.

Cedar Key is coming up next weekend, the Florida 120 is the following. We are out in small craft with no possibility of not being in danger were something like this to hit us. We should all think a moment, besides offering prayers for those lost.
