Just got # 91 here in Panama City, Florida, USA, where the sky is blue, the winds about right, and the overnight lows in the 40's.
Issue 91 is just a knockout in every way, and I tip my hat to SCA for its quality, longevity, and the enthusiastic community it has fostered.
Fifteen years! Fifteen years in a tough business. Think back to SCA #1- funky cool, small format, black and white, gold for small boaters still pining away for the old Small Boat Journal.
SCA has pushed on, and I'm sure it hasn't been an easy run. Here's to SCA- by small boatfolk, and for them. Well done, and here's to the next fifteen.
Can you tell I'm stoked?

Re: SCA # 91
I just had someone send me two dozen back issues for the price of postage!
Made out like a tall dog on garbage day! I'll have a cozy Christmas reading up on "new to me" issues.
I still have a couple boxes of Small Boat Journal that I dig out occasionally. SCA has nicely filled that niche. Good Old Boat is pretty good but more geared to the larger "classic plastic" cruising boats.
Blessed Season to the staff and contributors of SCA. Thanks for being who you are.

One thing about having an interest is old boats is the old magazines never really get old do they? You can pick up a 20 year old magazine and find articles or How to's that apply to that boat you own. Other than the quality of the photographs the articles are just as valid today as they were in 1995.
And I am jealous because all I have to look forward to is an empty mailbox for the next several months!!
