There is a guy at my marina that has a Melges Audi. He will go out when I won't even stand on the dock. You can see him almost completely on his side. He loves it. I figure if I wanted to tempt fate I would buy another motorcycle!

both are fair weather vehicles....
I have been back and forth on motorcycles and sailboats for 50 years. However, in 2009 I was hit by a tractor trailer on the expressway and almost lost my left arm. Thus ended my motorcycle days so I went back to sailboats for good this time (She Who Must Be Obeyed absolutely forbids another motorcycle in the garage!)
Before I got my sailboat, I was riding an old Goldwing. I bought the boat and the motorcycle was not used for the rest of the season. I sold it and I never looked back since.

I have a question about your Goldwing. Did it come with the automatic cappuccino maker and the electronic wave return mechanism?
Its interesting but I was speaking with Josh a few weeks ago about how many sailors are also motorcyclist. It seems there is a definite correlation between the two.
