Years ago I lived in Chicago Land. My wife had to go to Orlando for a business trip. We added 4 days to the trip and I went with.

We left for the airport early because it had started to snow. By the time we got to the airport our flight to Orlando had been cancelled. We jumped on a flight to Tampa. When I returned to Chicago, I found our car buried under a foot of snow. Luckily I had thrown a shovel in the car before going to the airport. Another guy offered to buy it from me. I told him it wasn't for sale, but that when he was done with it to give it to someone else.
