Today I got her rub rails on, cut the holes in the deck for the oarlocks and mainsheet horse, put the pintles back on, and the drainage holes in the transom, and completely forgot to take pictures.
No worries though, I have this to show you. A little something I knocked out from some mahogany scraps I had laying about, an angled mount for my compass. Soon as the third (or fourth) coat of varnish dries, I can mount the compass in it.
And this is the compass, a Silva P70, nice little fixed mount compass.
I was originally going to mount it permanently up by the mast, I even got as far as rebuilding the trim to accommodate it, and decided not to. Instead it is going to be mounted to a movable navigation "table" that I can strap to the thwart to hold the compass, charts, and stuff.
