Sail Boom Covers

Post by RRLAROCHE@COX.NET »

Hi, I just acquired a Neptune 16 and am looking for a sail cover for the main sail. The boom is 8 ft and my initial search has been unsuccessful. Any ideas or sources for boom covers for our smaller boats? Thanks, Randy LaRoche, Phoenix

Contact Sailors' Tailor - https://www.sailorstailor.com/
They will have you measure the boom and some hardware spacing.

A local canvas shop can also do the work. Where are you located. Challenge is wait times - can be months or more to get an appointment and then time to make the cover.

Thanks Dave, I'll check out the sailor tailor. I may have located one on Ebay. Minnies Yacht Surplus in CA has one for $49 but it's too big. I'm in Phoenix BTW. Thanks again. Randy
