Hi

Have you thought of making the plans available as a download? Each download could be personalised by embedding the purchaser's name and address as well as sail number.

Regards

Hi Nick,

We do expect eventually to make plans available as a download. Thanks for the suggestion. Right now we're offering eight 24 x 36" printed sheets. Plans were just recently updated and the eighth sheet with rigging details was added.

Best,
Josh

Thanks for that, save the postage that's all.

This may be a dumb question but I'm new to the boatbuilding game. Does each set of plans come with a "unique" sail number? I presume so but am not sure.

Thanks.

Not a dumb question at all. Many plans aren't sold that way, but that's exactly what we do with SCAMP plans. Each plan or kit purchased receives an official sail number in order. We started with #1 for the prototype.

Thanks. I will be ordering a set of plans soon, hopefully, and will be drooling over them before you know it. Next....a kit? Probably. I am looking forward to seeing a builder's manual soon as well. Will there be a special deal on the manual if one has already purchased a set of plans? Either way, I'll want one.

The manual is included with kits, as are a full set of plans. We're also happy to give the full $149 credit toward a kit for people who buy plans first. —Eds

How is the building manual coming on, will it be sent out to us who have ordered and received the plans?
