Toilet

Post by Jennifer J Harold »

After recently sailing Arwen in the Salish 100, finding a more packable toilet solution became a priority. Introducing the 15" extra-wide foldable footstool.

I ran it through the bandsaw and files the edges to create the seat for use with WAG bags. It's very stable, and it can fold flat to stow pretty much anywhere on the Scamp.

When cutting, be sure to leave enough center hinge for a secure hold.

Looks great, Jennifer. I bought one that folds up but haven't used it yet to report. It's a bit smaller than yours, but I don't guess it would be quite as comfortable.

(Jeremy here BTW from the Salish)

Hey Jeremy!
Good to see your voice.
I tried a smaller one that I already had first, and that's what prompted me to search for the larger size.
Always fun figuring out how to make cruising more comfortable 🙂
