Re: Scamp sailing lessons
I'm currently trying to convince my better half. In the meantime, what is the location of the skills classes and on the water fun? I assume Port Townsend. Does anyone have a recommendation for accomidations? Some place for my sleeping bag? Seems like every place I check in the area is booked. I'll be coming from a long way away and would need accomidations. My best friend lives in Bainbridge but that is quite a commute.

I'm interested. Is there space? A previous post made it sound like it's about full already.

Hi
Yesterday someone had to withdraw from the seminar due to a health issue. So there is now one space open. Would you like to join?
Thanks,
howard

Re: Scamp sailing lessons
Mr Rice, I'd also be interested in attending a Scamp Seminar on the East Coast if you decide to hold one out here in the future. It sounds like a great 'primer' for new Scamp owners as well as folks considering one. My area, Atlantic Highlands, NJ 07716, has many areas that you could hold a Scamp Seminar. There's also plenty of other things in the area to keep a spouse busy while the other attends the Scamp Seminar. Another thought would be to hold one in Annapolis after the boat shows in mid October when folks who attended the shows could then attend your Scamp Seminar. Dave Scobie knows the venue there, and has sailed in the area IIRCC.
