Scamp CNC ALUMINIUM

AM in AUSTRALIA, looking for CNC information on cutting from aluminium. Is it same as using ply?
Does anyone have any info about using Ali, & if there any boats been built/finished. Also if yes, how do they perform, compared with the ply version. Any stat comparisons, costs, material, etc builder's contact details.

Any further info on what finally happened to the boat?
Eg videos? Owner? Etc
