My wife and I want to build a Scamp but before we commit we'd like to see one. We sold an Aquarious 21 because I coundn't handle the deck-stepped mast. The Scamp must have a lighter mast that looks easier to step on Utube.
It would be great if someone would show us their boat and answer a few of our questions.

Re: New to forum; Any completed Scamps near Boise?
Hi Nick, welcome to the forum,
According to the "International Registry" thread map <viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1897> there's 2 sets of plans sold in your area:
Sail #96, Garden City, ID
Sail #275, Payette, ID
But, on that map, none completed close by. I thought Phil McCowin was in Boise, but perhaps it's Idaho Falls, he’s on this forum occasionally and launched "#127 Little Tramp" about 6 years ago, perhaps send him a message: search for "godocgo".
Or, perhaps Dave Scobie will chime in here (he keeps the updates going on that map), but he lives aboard a boat so might not have internet right now!
Cheers,
Dale
